Place of Luxuries and Amenities – The PM House

Pakistan is facing a lot of difficulties and clashes on different issues and there are many issues that can be a real threat to Pakistan in the future. The anchorperson of Dunya News was invited to PM house to cover the site of Prime Minister House so the people of Pakistan know how their former rulers were living a lavish and luxurious life. The location of the Prime Minister House is Islamabad – the heart of Pakistan. This Prime Minister house was established by the former ruler of Military, General Ayub Khan. In the very first address of Pakistan’s new PM announced that he wouldn’t stay at PM house and will never use or promote the luxurious living. The major part of Prime Minister House is used by the PM as this is the hub of official activities of PM. The news anchor of Dunya News covers the interior and premises as well as the total insight expenses, scope, and purpose of the land of PM house. The total area of the PM house is 1100 kanals. Let’s highlight some of the major premises of Prime Minister House Islamabad.

Office Wing of PM House
The office wing of the PM house consists of different office to the PM and a special meeting corner as well. In the meeting corner, the PM of Pakistan meets with the guests along with ministers. The corner meeting room is decorated with the pictures of the first PM of Pakistan – Shaheed Liaquat Ali Khan and first governor-general of Pakistan – Quaid-Azam.  There is the separate office for the Principal Secretary of PM and different separate rooms for the press meet and for the other purposes. There are many other luxurious rooms like separate press media hall, conference rooms, banquets for the guests and guest rooms as well. The office wing of the PM house also consists of newly constructed cabinet meeting rooms. The office furniture Islamabad PM’s house is really comfortable but expensive at the same time.

Prime Minister Office
The very first occupant of PM house Islamabad was the former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. After the PM Nawaz Sharif, the next occupant was the former president of Pakistan People Party – Benazir Bhutto. The PM office was also used by the Former President General Pervez Musharraf as the camp office but he spent most of his time in General head Quarters Rawalpindi. After the General Pervez Musharraf, the PM house premises was used by the Zafarullah Khan Jamali, Shaukat Aziz, Shujat Hussain, Yousaf Raza Gillani, and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. Again the Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was the last occupant in the PM house Islamabad. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Malik Mairaj never used the PM house to live in as they both are former Prime ministers of Pakistan.

Principal Secretary Office of PM House
The PMO (Prime Minister Office) is basically the principal workplace of PM of Pakistan. The current Principal Secretary of PM is Azam Khan. The former Principal Secretary of PM house was the Fawad Hassan Fawad and he was considered as the most powerful official during the period of Nawaz Sharif. In the starting period, the Prime Minister Office was referred as the Prime Minister Secretariat. It was further reformed by the Former PM of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Galleries of PM House
The PM house galleries are highly decorated and with luxury vases and splendid furniture and somewhere with giant chandeliers. Most of the galleries are embroidered with paintings of different Mughal ruler’s warriors of sub-continent.

Conference Hall of PM House
There a big conference hall located in the PM house so PM can address a large number of audiences. Again this Conference hall is fully furnished with the expensive and comfortable furniture. This conference hall is used countless time by COAS, DG ISI, and many other armed officials. There is military secretary office located in the PM house and that was used by the daughter of Former PM of Pakistan –Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Maryam Nawaz used the military secretary office as the media monitoring cell.

Press Auditorium of PM House
In the basement of PM house, there is a huge press auditorium used to address the media but it was never used by the PM Nawaz but many other former prime ministers used the press auditorium. This press auditorium is mostly used when a foreign delegation visits Pakistan. As the new prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan announced to convert this PM house into the University. This will be the best lecture hall for the university students with the most luxurious and comfortable furniture.

PM House Banquet Hall
The furniture and interior in the PM house banquet hall are simply splendid and it can easily accommodate a large number of people at one time. There is a huge dining table present in the center of the Banquet Hall. This banquet hall was used to serve the dinners to the foreign delegations.
